All Papua New Guinea tourist visas can be applied for online. That means all PNG tourist visas are e-Visas. In this article, when I use the term e-Visa, I’m referring to the tourist visa that can be obtained online.
There are two main types of Papua New Guinea e-Visas: the Easy Visitor Permit which is only available to some nationalities and the ordinary Visitor Visa for all other tourists. They are very similar in their requirements, cost, and application procedure.
The Easy Visitor Permit allows stays for either 30 or 60 days depending on nationality. The Visitor Visa also comes in 2 subtypes: for own itinerary tourists and visitors on packaged tours.
