In this new age of digital arrival and departure cards, the Philippines has introduced its own arrival, health, and customs declaration app called eTravel.
Filling out Philippines eTravel is mandatory for all arriving visitors. It takes about 10 minutes to complete and you would need your flight number and hotel address.

Who are required to fill out the Philippines eTravel?
The following are required to fill out the Philippines eTravel declaration.
- Foreign visitors arriving in the Philippines
- Philippine residents arriving inthe Philippines
- Filipino citizens arriving or departing from the Philippines
FOR TOURISTS: If you are a tourist, you are REQUIRED to fill out the eTravel declaration before your arrival in the Philippines.

When do you need to fill out the Philipines eTravel?
You must fill out the Philippines eTravel within 72 hours (3 days) before your arrival in the Philippines. The day of travel and arrival are included in the 3 days. Here is an example:
- Arrival in the Philippines: Jun 03 at 9.30 pm
- Fill your eTravel from: Jun 01 9.30 pm until arrival

Where to fill out the Philippine eTravel?
You can complete your Philippines eTravel registration online on the official website or using the eGovPH mobile app. The official website is responsive, so you can fill it out on a laptop, tablet, or mobile phone.
If you plan to travel to the Philippines frequently, it’s convenient to fill it out on the mobile app. You can download the official eGovPH mobile app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Go to the offical Philipines eTravel website.
Click on the green “Click here to Sign in” button.

Step 0: Login or create an account
If you have an eTravel account, log in using your eTravel credentials.
If you have an eGovPH account, you can log in using your eGovPH credentials as well. This is what I’ve been doing.
Once you log in, you will be taken to your dashboard, where you can view your travel history and previous eTravel declarations.
If you don’t have an eTravel or eGovPH account, click on the “Create an account” button to create a new account.

Enter your email address and click on the “Continue” button.

Enter a new password and click on the “Continue” button.

- Take a photo or upload a file [Instruction: Upload your face photo]
- Philippine/Foreign Passport [Instruction: Select FOREIGN PASSPORT Holder]
- First Name [Instruction: Enter your first name or given name as per your passport]
- Middle Name (optional) [Instruction: If your passport has a middle name, enter it here. Otherwise, leave it blank.]
- Last Name (optional) [Instruction: Enter your last name or surname as per your passport]
- Suffix (optional) [Instruction: If you have a suffix in your passport, enter it here. Otherwise, leave it blank.]
- Sex [Instruction: Select your sex]
- Birth Date (MM/DD/YYYY) [Instruction: Enter your date of birth as per your passport in MM/DD/YYYY format]
- Mobile Number [Instruction: Enter your mobile number]
- Citizenship [Instruction: Select your country of citizenship]
- Country of Birth [Instruction: Select your country of birth]
- Passport Number [Instruction: Enter your passport number]
- Passport Issuing Authority [Instruction: Select your country of passport]
- Passport Issued Date [Instruction: Select your passport issue date]
- Occupation [Instruction: Select your occupation]
Click on the “Next” button.
Page: Permanent Country of Residence
- Country [Instruction: Select your country of residence]
- No./Bldg/City/State/Province [Instruction: Enter your residencial address]
- Address Line 2 (optional) [Instruction: You can skip this]
Click on the “Next” button.
Page: Review and Submit
Review your profile photo and information. If everthing is looking fine, click on the “Submit” button.
You will be taken to the dashboard where you can submit a new travel declaration.

Step 1: New travel declaration
On the dashboard, click on the blue “New Travel Declaration“. You will be taken to the “Travel Registration” page.
Travel Registration
- For me/For Other [Instruction: Select “For me”. If you are filling out for a family member, select “For Other”]
- Air/Sea [Instruction: Select “Air”]
- Arrival/Departure [Instruction: Select “Arrival” if you are a foreign tourist. Filling out eTravel on departure is not required for foreign tourists.]
- Special flight [Instruction: Skip this, not relevant for tourists]
Click on the “Continue” button. You will be take the next screen where you will enter our flight, departure, transit, and arrival airport information.
Travel Details (Arrival via Air)
- Purpose of Travel [Instruction: Select “Holiday/Pleasure/Vacation” if you are a tourist]
- Traveler Type [Instruction: Select “Aircraft passenger”]
Flight Information
- Name of Airline [Instruction: Select the airline from the list]
- Flight Number [Instruction: Select the flight number from the list]
Origin
- Country of Origin [Instruction: Select your departure country from the list]
- Airport of Origin [Instruction: Enter the departure airport name/code or just the departure city name]
- Date of Departure [Instruction: Enter your departure date]
- Date of Return [Instruction: Enter the date you will exit the Philippines]
With Transit
If you are transiting in another country before arriving in the Philippines, check the box for “With Transit (Connecting Flight)?” and enter the details.
- Country of Transit [Instruction: Select the country of transit from the list]
- Airport of Transit [Instruction: Enter the transit airport name/code or just the transit city name]
- Date of Transit [Instruction: Enter your date of transit]
Destination
- Airport of Destination [Instruction: Enter the arrival airport in the Philippines]
- Date of Arrival [Instruction: Enter your arrival date in the Philippines]
- Destination upon arrival in the Philippines [Instruction: Select “Hotel/Resort”. Select Residence if you will be staying with someone. Select “Transit via airport” only if you will be “landside” transit in the Philippines and will pass through immigration.]
- Hotel, Resort, Airbnb, etc. [Instruction: Search or enter your hotel/Airbnb name here, or simply enter its address]
eVisa
There is nothing to fill out in the eVisa section.
Click on the “Next” button. You will be taken to the “Health Declaration” page.

Step 2: Health Declaration
- Countries worked, visited and transited in the last 30 days. [Instruction: This is optional, but you can voluntarily enter any countries you have been to in the last 30 days]
- Have you had any history of exposure… [Instruction: Select “No”. If you had exposure to a sick person in the last 30 days, select “Yes” and provide details.]
- Have you been sick in the past 30 days? [Instruction: Select “No”. If you have been sick in the last 30 days, select “Yes” and provide details.]
Click on the “Next” button.

Step 3: Baggage, General and Currency Declaration
Read through the information and declare any baggage or currency that you’re carrying by clicking the “Yes” button. If you have nothing to declare, click on the “No” button.

Step 4: Other travel details
- Accompanied family members [Instruction: If you have any family members traveling with you, select the number here]
- No. of baggage [Instruction: Select the number of check-in and hand-carry bags here]
- First time visiting Philippines [Instruction: Select yes/no depending on whether you’ve been to the Philippines before]
Click on the “Next” button.

Step 5: Customs declaration signature
Sign using your finger in the box provided and click on the “Next” button.

Step 6: Family members
Here you can enter the declarations of any family member by clicking “Add family member” link.
Click on the “Next” button.

Step 7: Submit
Review all the information you’ve entered so far. If you see any errors, click on the “Previous” button to go back and fix them.
If everything looks correct, click on the “Submit” button.
A QR code will be displayed. Take a screenshot of it or download it by clicking on the “Download QR Code” link.
You will also receive an email with the eTravel QR code.
At Manila International Airport, they stopped asking for the QR code. But the immigration can see whether you have filled out your eTravel declaration when they scan your passport.

Yes. Philippine eTravel is legit. And all visitors are required to complete this form before arriving in the Philippines.
Is Philippines eTravel free?
Yes, filling out the Philippines eTravel online is completely free. If a website or app is asking you to pay, then you are on the wrong website or app. There is only the official Philippine eTravel website or app.
How many days before the trip do I need to complete the Philippines eTravel?
You must fill out the Philippines eTravel within 72 hours (3 days) before your arrival. You can complete it at the airport too, but this may delay your check-in or immigration.
Do I need to fill out the Philippines eTravel when leaving the country?
If you are a visitor, you are NOT required to fill out the eTravel when leaving the Philippines. If you are a Filipino citizen or a Philippine resident, you are required to complete the eTravel even when leaving the country.
Do I need to fill out the Philippines eTravel when transiting?
No. You are not required to fill out eTravel when transiting (airside) through the Philippines. This applies to “Airside” transit only. If you will go through the immigration, you are required to complete the eTravel.
