Allowed ports of entry

Visa on Arrival can be obtained at Phnom Penh and Siem Reap international airports and all international land border crossings from Thailand, Laos and Vietnam.

Documents required

You only need your passport and 30 USD cash to obtain the Visa on Arrival. Cambodia has phased out filling out the VOA application forms and submitting passport-size photos. But you may still be required to fill out the form and/or provide a photo when obtaining VOA at some land border crossings.

The passport must have at least 6 months of validity with 1 blank page.

Procedure to obtain VOA at the airport, seaport or land border

After arrival, head to the Visa on Arrival area. If filling out an application is required, grab an application and fill it out.

You will see two to three counters. One to submit the documents, one to pay the fee, and the last to pick up the passport. Head to the first counter and submit the following.

  1. Original passport
  2. Completed Visa on Arrival application form (if required)
  3. One passport-size photo (if required)

Go to the second counter and wait till they call your name. When they call your name, pay the visa fee of 30 USD and pick up your passport.

Check your new Cambodia visa and make sure all details are correct.

Read the Cambodia Visa on Arrival article for details on the documentation and fee requirements and step-by-step VOA procedure at the airport and land border.
